How does the CV/Résumé service work?
There are 3 basic steps.

- Preview
- Submission Process.
We open a separate E-mail for each company and send them your CV/Resume as if you had done it yourself.
Complete the form and then preview your CV / Résumé layout. When happy, pay online by credit card or post a check (cheque). The submission process is automatic and will take about 4 to 5 minutes to complete. All you do is press a button and watch as our system sends out your CV/Résumé by individual emails to each company on our lists.

Salary scales typically range from $1000 U.S. dollars - $1700 U.S. dollars per month. Restaurant and house staff can expect $300 - $600 per week due to wages linked to tips.

Are staff members allowed to go onshore at port locations?
Yes, you will be able to visit free when not on duty. Leisure time will vary according to type of position but there will always be a chance to visit fantastic locations throughout the world.

Which nationalities are considered for employment on cruise liners?
There are no restrictions. People from every country in the world can apply for work in the cruise line industry.

Am I responsible for the travel costs to meet up with the ship?
A number of companies will pay for your flights to join the ship but if you break your contract of employment these costs may be deducted from any outstanding wages payable. Due to cruise companies flying staff on a regular basis they obtain cheaper flight tickets.

Is the food and accommodation free for staff members on board the ships?
Yes, this is what makes this career a great opportunity to actually save money.

What length of contract would I be offered by the cruise company?
Minimum 4-6 month contracts depending on the cruise line and type of job offered. Once your skills and value is displayed to your employer such contracts can be extended or you could be invited back for an alternative period.

What does CV mean?
CV stands for Curriculum Vitae which is a short report of your personal details, skills and work history. It is also called a Résumé . Internationally some people use Résumé and others use CV to mean the same thing. In short they are the same.
